For those that couldn't
make it this week, we had Tania and Synara as our coffee morning
guests, to help raise funds for Tania's adoption of 3 Kenyan child=
ren
(actually for the Sanata Centre where the kids are currently living in
Kenya) - what an amazing story!! They raffled off Tania's hairdres=
sing
services & Synara's Kinesiology consultation - the prizes were
fantastic so congratulations to all the winners! And most importan=
tly,
between the 2 coffee mornings we raised over AED4,000!!! If y=
ou
couldn't attend but would like to know more and / or donate, please
see the info attached.

Al Ain Air show now opening 4/2
Because of the recent
adverse weather across the UAE, the promotors of the Al Ain Aerobatic S=
how
have postponed the opening of the event until 4 Feb. Because of the
delayed start, the show will open from 10am-6.30pm both days, with doors
opening from 9am. Tickets already purchased for 2nd & 3rd Feb are v=
alid
for the weekend. More info online.
Thrift shop volunteers needed
The St Andrews Church
thrift shop (next to the British School) is in desperate need of
volunteers for the 1st & 3rd Fridays of each month from noon-2=
pm
and each Tuesday from 8.30am-noon. If you or anyone you know can help,
