If you haven't already, don't forget to RSVP for this Sunday's field trip - a guided tour of the new  'Splendours of Mesopotamia' exhibition at Manarat Al Saadiyat plus a finger food lunch buffet at Fanr Restaurant - all for just 65dhs/person. Get fit + keep cool- aqua fitness

What a great way to do exercise - in the water! Anne (certified aqua fitness instructor) has announced a new aqua fitness class schedule:

Abu Dhabi Golf Club (meet at gym reception) 
Sun 10-11am and Wed 9-10am
Chi Spa at Shangri-la (between the bridges)
 Mon & Wed 11am-noon

There is also a NEW Aqua Natal class (see website for info) - water exercise that promotes physical wellness during pregnancy. Co instructed with Annette (registered midwife), classes are held:

The Market @ Masdar City 29/4

Masdar Communications is organising the first public event at the Masdar Institute Campus - a market day on 29 April from 10am-5pm. There will be plenty of activities for all ages, plus stalls promoting organic foods & crafts, organic health spas & locally produced art & fashion items.

Live theatre 'The Seagull' 

One to One Hotel - the Village is hosting a live production adaptation of Chekhov's 'The Seagull' on 27, 29 & 30 April, performed by Resuscitation Theatre company. The show starts at 8pm each night and tickets cost 50dhs. See attached for info.

Ladies golf mornings every Thurs from 7.30 at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club. Cost is 95dhs per lesson, including  tea/coffee/biscuits after the lesson. There is one golf pro per 6 ladies, and 3 levels of lessons are available:
* 7.30-8.30am for those with or working towards a handicap
* 8.45-9.45am those perfecting their swing & short game, or wanting to go out on the course
* 9.45-10.45 for beginners who have never swung a club before or who are starting over again!

Lesson format each month:
Week 1: Range working on fairway woods, drivers & long iron shots
Week 2: On the course
Week 3: Short game (different aspect each time)
Week 4: On the course
Week 5: TBA when we have a 5 week month

There is also a group of ladies that generally play after the lessons, at the discounted rate of 200dhs/9 holes. Please let Jacqueline know by email if you'd like to join the lessons or play a round after. You will need to book on a monthly basis but ony pay for those lessons you will be available for.
