Member update

Well, we seem to be getting the hang of the coffee mornings, which is just as well since Jacqueline will be away for a few more weeks! Thanks to everyone for being so patient, & especially to Chris and Sarah who have been helping out with the Tues morning coffees. We've also had lots of new members the past few weeks - welcome!! We'll organise member cards for you as soon as possible.

We had a fantastic coffee morning this week at Sharanis Spa in Khalifa-A...pampering, coffee and cake - what more can a girl want!? See below under Business in Focus for more details and for some extra special offers exclusive to our group. And don't forget to join us next week to help raise funds for Tanya's adoption process (see left) - there will be a raffle with fantastic prizes!

Valentine's Day - dry night

Thinking about going out for a romantic evening with that special someone and having a nice bottle of wine? Make sure you check with the venue as it's the prophet's birthday and many places will not be serving alcohol.

Logos ship coming our way

The ship's aims are:
i) to get people to visit the ship for programmes (schools etc.) Programmes for the general public are secular and have an educational/cultural focus.
ii) to help on projects (in Lebanon they painted a school)
iii) to join people in fellowship whether it be in churches or in secular settings
iiii) recruit expat volunteers from churches. Volunteers will work alongside crewmembers during the time the ship is in Abu Dhabi.

If you'd like to find out more or think you can help, check out the website or contact Andrea Choi by email or on 050 733 0417.

The Spa has given our group some extra special package offers (see attached) - you need to book and pay by end Jan but you have until end Feb to have your pampering.
