Member update
For those that missed last week's field trip, the feedback is that the new 'Splendours of Mesopotamia' exhibition at Manarat Al Saadiyat is excellent - well worth a visit (while you're there, don't forget to take advantage of Fanr Restaurant's coffee club offer - coffee/tea plus a selection of cakes & muffins for only 20dhs per person )! The next field trip is to Dragonmart on 1 May - let Jacqueline know if you'd like to go. And now that the weather looks like it's finally starting to heat up, our next couple of coffee morning guests will tell us how we can have fun exercising on the water and stay cool (aka wet!). Tidbit of the week
After the big accident on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai road last week, the speed limit buffer is being reduced to 140kph and the speed cameras will be adjusted shortly (there are new signs on the road now which haven't yet been uncovered). For more info, see the article at Emirates 24/7 .

The last Yas Island show weekend concerts for this year (at least until cooler weather) have been announced! Both concerts will be at Yas Arena. If you're thinking about going, make sure you check out the special weekend hotel offers.
